Shockwave therapy uses mechanical energy in the form of acoustic waves that increase local circulation and stimulate the body’s healing process. Treatment is targeted on the damaged tissue through the handheld applicator and can enhance the breakdown of adhesions, scar tissue, and calcification.

Shockwave is used in combination with massage therapy techniques to maximize our treatment protocol and decrease recovery time.

Most common indications include painful shoulder, epicondylitis, low back pain, Achilles tendon pain, tendonitis, and trigger points.
